I love these backroads of Clackamas County. It only takes about half an hour to get out of the city in this direction from my house, and the roads are twisty and nearly empty.
In particular, I like the narrow roads which run along the tops of the many ridges in the edge of the Cascade foothills. The first road rally I wrote was in this area.
